Know exactly what to post for the next twelve months
I’ll work out what your customers are actually searching for, and turn it into a plan you can just follow.
Sound familiar?
You post when you remember. Then a busy fortnight happens and you don’t post for two months.
When you do sit down to write something, you stare at the screen wondering what on earth to say, so you share a photo of the team instead and hope for the best.
Meanwhile a competitor you’ve never heard of is sitting above you on Google, and you’re not sure what they’re doing differently.
It’s not that you’re bad at this. Nobody’s ever told you what to write about. Social media eats all the effort and disappears in a day, while the things people are actually typing into Google, the questions your customers ask you every week, never get written down anywhere.
What you get
A twelve-month content plan, built around what people near you are searching for:
- Every topic in publishing order, so you always know what’s next
- The search terms behind each one, and roughly how many people look for it
- A short brief for each: what to cover, so you or anyone else can write it
- Which ones to turn into social posts, and what those posts should point at
It arrives as a simple document. No software to learn, no subscription, no dashboard.
How it works
- A 45-minute call. What you sell, who buys it, and the questions you find yourself answering over and over.
- I do the digging. A week or so of research into what your customers search for and where the gaps are.
- Your plan, and a call to walk you through it. Then I check in a month later to see how you’re getting on.
£250.
Fixed price, introductory rate. One new customer usually covers it several times over.
This is for you if you run a small business, you’ve got a website that isn’t doing much, and you’d rather have a plan than another thing to feel guilty about.
Why me
I’ve been blogging since 2012. In 2019 I picked a houseplant niche from scratch, with no audience and no budget, and built it into a site that now gets around 18,000 readers a month, entirely through search. It carries display advertising through Mediavine, who have traffic requirements you have to meet before they’ll take you, so that number isn’t self reported.
None of that happened because I’m a brilliant writer. It happened because I worked out what people were searching for and then wrote those things in a sensible order. That’s the whole trick, and it’s what I’ll do for you.
I also spend my working week in an accountancy practice, so I’ve a fair idea of how small businesses actually run. You won’t get a plan that assumes you’ve a marketing department, or a budget, or a spare afternoon.
And you’ll be dealing with me the whole way through. No account manager, no handover to someone junior.
